Bio^M Biotech Cluster Development GmbH has been entrusted with the task of cluster management for the biotechnology industry in Munich and Bavaria. Bio^M is the first point of contact for biotechnology companies and start-ups in the Munich region. Our team of experts from a variety of sectors will be happy to advise you.

Bio^M is sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology (Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Wirtschaft, Infrastruktur, Verkehr und Technologie) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung).

Through networking, location marketing, consultancy and other services, we help to bring the Munich m⁴ Biotech Cluster further to the international forefront and make it visible on the global stage. Since winning the Leading-Edge Cluster Competition in 2010, Bio^M has been entrusted with managing the leading-edge cluster m⁴ - Personalized Medicine and Targeted Therapies.

In addition, Bio^M Biotech Cluster Development GmbH has been entrusted with the management of the Bavarian Biotechnology Cluster as part of the Bavarian Cluster Initiative, with a view to networking all the Bavarian biotech regions into one large Bavarian cluster.

Bio^M is a project partner in the EU ABCEurope project, which seeks closer cooperation among European bioregions and their companies. The range of services offered by the cluster agencies is being improved, in order to create a more favourable environment for growth, international cooperation, transnational innovations and start-ups.
