National Funding Measures

The German Federal Government sees biotechnology as a focal point of its research policy. The aim of the “Biotechnology Framework Programme - Using and Shaping its Opportunities” is to secure the level of proficiency of the life sciences in Germany and to tap innovation potential.

BioM fosters close interaction with the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and within the scope of the BioChancePLUS funding programme, for example, not only advises applicants, but also coordinates the appraisal process for the Greater Munich Area.
