Research and Innovation Funding in Bavaria
The State of Bavaria offers a number of funding programmes for R&D projects and business start-ups:
- With the Programme for the Support of Technology-Oriented Business Start-Ups (BayTOU) the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology (StMWIVT) helps new businesses and young technology companies to develop new products, processes and technical services and by drawing up a corporate concept. - Under the Bavarian Technology Promotion Programme (BayTP), small and medium-sized enterprises can receive grants or loans to help them develop new products or production processes and apply new technologies.
