Design and validate your biotech business concept
The BioEntrepreneur Boot Camp is an elaborate four-week program for (prospective) life sciences founding teams. You will be working elaborately – like during the working hours of a managing director - on your detailed business concept. You will be validating the feasibility of your project within the scope of expert interviews. Weekly, two-day on-site workshops alternate with off-site expert talks.
In the on-site workshops, available in German or English, you will work jointly with experts on topics such as: business model design, company structure, business development, intellectual property protection, product development, approval, reimbursement, public funding and start-up competitions, financing options by venture capital, corporate evaluation and investor relations. You will also learn how to conduct meaningful expert interviews to validate your business idea. In weekly peer-to-peer sessions, you will receive feedback on the progress of your business concept. Experienced biotech founders and experts will give you valuable input in lectures and discussion sessions. In the final pitch training, you will learn how to convincingly structure and present your company presentation in English.
Every week you will autonomously talk with off-site experts, prospective customers and other stakeholders of your future company to validate your business concept and to complete your product development plan. You will integrate your findings in your business concept, present them weekly and receive more feedback. BioM helps you establish contacts to appropriate experts and provides you with networking opportunities: You will be a guest of the BioEntrepreneur Lounge and get to know members of the BioM Mentor Circle.
On the last day of the Boot Camp, known as the acceleration day, you will present your developed business concept to representatives of the biotech community and will leave into the world of biotech business from a farewell party.
BioM organizes the Boot Camp once a year. Please, find current dates in our Events section.
