BIO-Europe Spring 2026 & LSX World Congress Europe: BioM taking part in the Spring Innovation Week

BioM took part in BIO‑Europe Spring 2026 and LSX World Congress Europe in Lisbon, representing the Bavarian biotech ecosystem on the international stage. The conferences once again offered an excellent setting for high‑quality meetings with investors, big pharma and international partners, as well as valuable exchanges with Bavarian companies attending the events.

BIO‑Europe Spring 2026 was held for the first time in Portugal, creating an excellent opportunity to explore the local biotech ecosystem alongside the conference. Participants gained valuable insights into emerging Portuguese life‑science hubs and initiatives such as Biocant Park, P‑Bio, Colab AccelBio and others, highlighting Portugal’s growing biotech landscape.

With more than 3,700 participants, 74 company presentations, 125 exhibitors and around 20,000 partnering meetings, BIO‑Europe Spring once again underlined its position as one of Europe’s leading partnering conferences for the life sciences.

In addition to partnering activities, BioM actively contributed to international dialogue formats. These included the CEBR breakfast meetup and the discussion around the second Innovation Statement, organized by EuropaBio and EBD Group, focusing on Europe’s role in the global life‑science landscape and how to position it successfully in a rapidly evolving global environment.

Also in 2026, BIO‑Europe Spring featured a German Pavilion, providing innovative companies with a strong platform to showcase their solutions and engage in targeted exchanges with international partners. The following Bavarian biotech companies presented their products and expertise within the German Pavilion:

  • Aurigon GmbH
  • Granzer Regulatory Consulting & Services GmbH
  • IGES Institut GmbH
  • knowing01 GmbH
  • Staatz Consulting
  • Trials24 GmbH

As part of Spring Innovation Week, BioM also participated in the LSX World Congress Europe, broadening the perspective beyond biotechnology to include pharmatech and medtech and highlighting the growing convergence across life‑science sectors.
