BioM’s Crash Course Biotech I 2026

BioM’s Crash Course Biotech I 2026 (Beginner) offers a comprehensive and interactive introduction to modern biotechnology. The five-week program is designed for beginners, career changers, start-up teams, and professionals seeking to build a solid foundation in life sciences.

Taking place from 15 April to 20 May 2026, the course combines five live virtual sessions and one in-person networking evening in Martinsried. Participants will gain practical insights into key areas of biotechnology, including 

  • Core principles of biotechnology
  • Molecular and biochemical foundations
  • Essential laboratory & analytical methods (PCR, cell culture, CRISPR, etc.)
  • Product development & clinical translation
  • Regulatory frameworks & real-world applications
  • Insights into AI-supported drug development

A special highlight is the on-site networking event on 20 May 2026 at BioM in Martinsried, including a site visit to the labs of the BioM MAxL incubator, offering participants the opportunity to connect with peers and deepen their understanding in a real-world setting.
