Apply now for the EIT Health Wild Card Initiative with your idea to transform healthcare in Europe!
EIT Health is now accepting applications for €4 million in funding through its new Wild Card initiative, to support entrepreneurs, data/IT experts, researchers and others whose innovative ideas could transform European healthcare.
The initiative will invest in high-risk, innovative ideas in Artificial Intelligence (AI)/big data and antibiotic resistance.
Applications can come from individuals and small teams of up to three people. The call is open to academics, researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, scientists, data analysts, business analysts and advisors, or simply motivated, creative and inventive people.
SMART HEALTH sets applicants the task of building new solutions that utilise Artificial Intelligence to quickly interpret large, unstructured data sets, allowing healthcare professionals across the EU to improve patient care.
FIGHT BACK challenges applicants to build innovative solutions that tackle the growing problem of antibiotic resistance, both in terms of raising awareness and enabling new processes and methodologies across EU healthcare.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to compete in a one week tournament in mid-2018, where winning teams will be formed. The two winning teams will be supported for 24 months, starting in October 2018.
