The Medical Valley Award goes into its sixth round. Scientific projects in the medical field with spin-off potential can actively apply for EUR 500,000 in funding over a two-year period.

The Medical Valley Award 2026 is aimed at academic research teams with innovative ideas in the fields of medical technology and digital health who wish to take the step toward spin-off.
Through a multi-stage selection process, the five best concepts from Bavaria will be chosen and supported with pre-seed funding of up to EUR 500,000 over two years.
In addition to financial support, the winning teams will benefit from workshops, mentoring, and active support from the Medical Valley EMN e. V. network.
The award thus offers ideal conditions for validating research results and successfully translating them into practical applications.
