Roche’s Dr. Anna Bauer-Mehren and Prof. Dr. Carsten Marr join AI4Biotech Session on November 19

The expert line-up for BioM’s "AI4Biotech Session – Biotech AI Compass: Turn AI ambition into action" is complete: Dr. Anna Bauer-Mehren (Roche Diagnostics & Bavarian AI Council) and Prof. Dr. Carsten Marr (Helmholtz Munich & LMU) will join the session as Thought Leaders for an impulse and fireside chat.

📅 19 November 2026 | 9 am – 8 pm

📍 BioM, Room Munich, Am Klopferspitz 19a, Martinsried (Munich)

🌐 Language: English

📃 Program Overview

Dr. Bauer-Mehren and Prof. Marr bring complementary perspectives from pharmaceutical and diagnostics innovation, applied health AI, biomedical research and clinical translation. This will add valuable practical insights to a day focused on one central question: How can biotech and life science organisations turn AI ambition into clear priorities, sound decisions and concrete action?

The AI4Biotech Session – Biotech AI Compass, jointly delivered by BioM and experts from Steadforce (www.steadforce.com), offers leaders and decision-makers in biotech and life sciences a structured framework to assess their organisation’s AI readiness, clarify strategic priorities, evaluate relevant initiatives and develop an organisation-specific roadmap.

Plus: Up to three follow-up check-in sessions with Steadforce will support participants in translating the workshop outcomes into implementation steps.

No technical AI background is required.

Seats are limited to ensure an interactive setting and meaningful peer exchange.
