BIO-Japan is regarded as the leading partnering event for biotechnology and pharmaceuticals in Asia and comprises an exhibition (presentation of the latest technologies in drug research, regenerative medicine and healthcare technology), seminars (around 200 specialist presentations on current industry trends and innovations) and partnering (automated 1-to-1 meeting system for targeted business contacts). Directly before BioJapan, the EU-Japan Biotech & Pharma Partnering Conference will take place on 6 October in Osaka. This offers targeted matchmaking opportunities with companies from the local industry and promotes cooperation between European and Japanese players in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. On 7 October, participants will also have the opportunity to get to know the regional innovation ecosystem first-hand as part of a half-day site visit before continuing their journey to Yokohama for BioJapan.
