From the idea to a start-up - practical tips – challenges – success factors will be the topic of the Cross-faculty Expert Talk - an event of the Faculty of Medicine in cooperation with the Central Graduate Center of the University of Augsburg.
From the idea to a start-up. Several questions arise with founding an own company from academia: How do I successfully patent a promising product? What should I bear in mind when founding a start-up? Who can I approach with my questions? Where can I get support?
We will discuss these and similar questions with our guests from the biomedical start-up scene, the University of Augsburg and Augsburg University Hospital. There will also be a keynote speech and discussion with Prof. Dr. Ralf Huss, Managing Director of BioM Biotech Cluster Development GmbH, the cluster network organization of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, which has been supporting founders from biotechnology, medicine and healthtech in Bavaria for more than 25 years.
