Free consulting and networking for projects in developing and emerging countries

Do you want to commit to new markets in a sustainable way or are already actively involved? As a central point-of-contact, the Agency for Business & Economic Development (AWE) advises small and medium-sized companies and associations on development cooperation opportunities, including investments and sustainable projects in developing and emerging countries.

An international team offers you free advice and supports you in making the right use of your opportunities in development cooperation:

The services offered by the Agency for Business and Development:

  • Advice on funding and financing opportunities in development cooperation,
  • Contact to networks nationally and internationally,
  • Support for entrepreneurial projects in developing and emerging countries,
  • Access to the Business & Human Rights Helpdesk, which provides information on the implementation of human rights due diligence processes.

In addition, events and webinars are held on a regular basis.
The service is completely free of charge and is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
