The m4 project of Activaero and the Comprehensive Pneumology Center (CPC) was extended by the BMBF until 2015. Within the framework of the Leading-Edge Cluster m4, this research cooperation develops a nove method for the treatment of chronic lung diseases. The new inhalation technique is to allow for a determiniation of the efficacy of inhaled drugs. Thus, the method shall also be developed as a platform technology for the preclinical development of drug candidates.
