On March 14/15 the Closing Conference of BioSysNet „Current Topics in Molecular Systems Biology“ will take place in Munich.

The conference is organized by the Bavarian Research Network for Molecular Biosystems and will bring together scientists working interdisciplinary in the fields of systems biology including biochemistry, genetics and bioinformatics.

Junior research groups and the established groups in our network, domiciled at the universities and university clinics in Munich, Erlangen, Regensburg and Wurzburg are presented. There will be presentations and discussions about the latest results achieved through the analysis of the complex interactions in biological systems.

BioSysNet has been funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Education, Science and the Arts for a period of five years. Its goal is to expand the existing competences in the field of biosystems research. The Progress of five junior research projects and the projects of the associated research groups located at bavarian universities and university hospitals in Erlangen, München, Regensburg and Würzburg will be presented.
