NanoTemper gets TOP100 award as one of Germany’s most innovative SMEs in 2021

NanoTemper has been given the TOP100 seal in 2021, an award that honors innovative German small and medium-sized companies. The TOP100 innovation competition is organized by compamedia, and judging is led by innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team. They assess companies using around 120 test criteria from five categories: innovation-friendly senior management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, outward looking innovation, and successful innovations.

The panel also looks to see that innovation is the result of a planned approach (i.e., repeatable innovative performance) and that solutions succeed on the market. Due to the current global pandemic, this round also examined the entrepreneurial response to the COVID-19 crisis.

“Our company is focused on developing innovative products, like our recently launched Andromeda, that are not only design-forward and user friendly, but also truly help researchers do science that matters. The only way we can do that is by ensuring an innovation-friendly environment from the top down and throughout all departments.” Philipp Baaske, co-CEO of NanoTemper

While innovation at NanoTemper’s Munich headquarters is driven by a strong production, operations, and R&D, the company’s key to innovative success is also through its offices in biotech hotspots all over the world — including the Bay Area, Boston, London, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, and Bangalore — enabling a closer connection with customers and their needs.

NanoTemper has been previously granted the TOP100 award. And, earlier this year, the journal CAPITAL also recognized NanoTemper as one of Germany’s most innovative companies in 2021.
