Are you a biomedical founding team? Do you want to design and validate your business concept during a unique incubation and training program in Oxford and Munich?
Take part in the EIT Health BioEntrepreneurship Lab! Learn how to turn your ideas into a start-up venture.
BioEntrepreneurship Lab is a jointly run 3 months early incubation program with 2 full-time weeks of entrepreneurial training taking place at the University of Oxford (1 week in April) and at BioM, Munich (1 week in July). Among others it contains workshops on business planning, IP, market research, financing, pitching, market regulations, partnering. In between the two on-site weeks there will be online feedback sessions from peers and coaches. You will be connected to an industry mentor for the entire duration of the programme who will challenge and coach your team off-site.
Learn from industry experts at on-site sessions and networking events. Meet potential stakeholders and interview experts, opinion leaders and potential customers to accelerate your biomedical business. Pitch to a panel of EIT Health partners at the final event and stand a chance to be selected as one of the three winning teams. With this approach, you ensure that your business model is not only designed well but also meets market needs.
This special programme targets biomedical founding teams in the pre-seed or seed phase. Your business idea can be in, but not restricted to, drug development, diagnostics, digital health, innovations in health data and “bringing care home”.
If your application is successful you will receive the necessary funding to be able to cover travel expenses during the program.
