Car

You may use the parking facilities of the Max-Planck-Institute for Biochemistry opposite the IZB building. At the barrier, ring the bell and identify yourself as BioM (IZB building) visitor.

Public transport

By train (www.bahn.com/en) to Munich Main Station (München Hauptbahnhof), then take the train (S-Bahn, any line, direction Marienplatz) to Marienplatz. From Marienplatz, take the underground train (U-Bahn, line U6) and get off at the stop Klinikum Großhadern (final station). Either take the bus 266 (direction Planegg) to the stop IZB or enjoy a 10 minute walk. Further information about public transport in Munich: http://www.mvv-muenchen.de/en

Plane

From Munich international airport Franz Joseph Strauß (MUC), take the train (S-Bahn, any line) to Marienplatz (see public transport). Or by taxi (about 60 Euro).
