Nanotemper among the finalists of the “Deutscher Gründerpreis”

With the Martinried-based NanoTemper, also a biotech company is among the six finalists of the Deutscher Gründerpreis 2014. In the category of start-up and newcomer, the finalists show a wide variety: there are technical business ideas such as cloud computing, as well as life style topics such as vegan food and personalized crochet hats.

As a company that is younger than nine years and has already distinguished itself by extraordinary growth, NanoTemper has qualified for the category newcomer. The founders Dr. Stefan Duhr and Dr. Phillipp Baaske were successful in developing a new highly sensitive method to analyze molecular interactions. The thermophoresis technology has versatile applications in life science research, including in drug development.

Already with the nomination as a finalist, the founders will receive comprehensive consulting and coaching services. The winners will be nominated on September 16th in Berlin.
