Eight healthcare start-ups win Start?Zuschuss! funding

The winners of this year's "Start?Zuschuss!" funding program have been announced. A total of 8 start-up teams from the healthcare sector are among them. The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs is supporting a total of 36 innovative start-ups from all over Bavaria.

36 start-ups from all over Bavaria will receive funding of up to 36,000 euros in the latest phase of the "Start?Zuschuss!" competition. A jury of experts evaluated the 127 innovative business models submitted and has now selected the winning teams.

From the healthcare sector, 8 teams are awarded:

Raya Diagnostics GmbH (Gauting): Software development in the field of radiology

cureVision GmbH (Munich): wound documentation

deepeye Medical GmbH (Munich): AI tools to support ophthalmologists

Elixion Medical GmbH (Munich): post-operative care

InformMe GmbH (Munich): digital patient education

PHIO scientific GmbH (Munich): Imaging in biotechnological research

Densilia GmbH (Augsburg): AI-based diagnostics in the oral and maxillofacial region

TRICLI GmbH (Augsburg): more efficient management of clinical studies

Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger, congratulated the winners: "Despite the current challenging economical phase, I am firmly convinced: 2022 will also be a good year for start-ups. We have supported more start-ups in this round than ever before. The large number of applications is a strong sign of Bavarian entrepreneurial spirit. I wish the young entrepreneurs every success in implementing their ideas. Bavaria's economy needs you!"

The Bavarian funding program "Start?Zuschuss!" from the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy is aimed at technology-oriented start-ups in the field of digitization. Applications are open to young companies with an innovative and promising business model that have been founded within the last two years.

The winners will receive funding of up to 36,000 euros over one year for rent and employees, research and development, and the market launch of the product.
