Bavarian companies now have the opportunity to register for free at the Osaka Biotech & Pharma Partnering Conference 2022 Plattform and receive support in approaching their desired business partners. The Osaka conference will take place virtually on September 26-30, 2022. A face-to-face follow-up event will be held in Osaka on October 11. Participation in the virtual partnering is not dependent on attendance at the face-to-face event.

The B-2-B matchmaking in the Kansai region, was initiated by BioM six years ago due to the good contacts with Osaka Prefecture and was conceived together with three other European BioRegions (bioXclusters). The partnering conference is now held annually close to BioJapan and is organized by Osaka Bio Headquarters and the EU-Japan Centre. Last year, the conference was set up purely virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic, see Biotech & Pharma Partnering Conference 2021.

At the last on-site conference in 2019, 82 representatives of European companies from 15 countries met with 66 Japanese companies to exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations (see BioM News). At the approximately 300 partnering meetings - established in advance through an online system - numerous new business contacts were initiated and existing ones deepened. The high rate of partnering meetings is partly due to BioM's personal contact with Osaka Bio Headquarters and the players in the Kansai region, which is so important in Japan, and through which Bavarian contact requests are supported.

The event page for 2022 is now available: https://bio-pharma-osaka-2022.b2match.io/.

Registrations are open until October 5, however early registration is recommended for higher visibility and date acceptance.

BioM, in collaboration with Osaka BioHeadquarters, will assist you with your meeting requests in Japan.
